Veneers

Veneers are thin, custom-made facings bonded to the front of your teeth to reshape, brighten or refine your smile. Done well, the result is so natural that nobody can tell. They just notice you look well. At SAVOY veneers are planned around your face, your features and how you want to feel, not a one-size-fits-all template.

What to expect

We start with a proper smile consultation: photographs, a chat about what you’d like to change, a discussion of porcelain versus composite, and a preview of the proposed result. Nothing irreversible begins until you’ve seen and approved the plan. Tooth preparation is kept as conservative as possible.

Is it right for you?

  • Chipped, worn or uneven front teeth
  • Small gaps you’d like closed
  • Permanently discoloured teeth that don’t respond to whitening
  • Anyone wanting a refined, natural-looking smile enhancement

The process

Smile consultation

Photographs, conversation, and the design of a result that suits your face.

Preview & approval

Where appropriate we preview the shape so you can see and feel it before we commit.

Preparation & lab work

Conservative preparation, then your custom veneers are crafted by our trusted ceramist.

Fit & refine

Each veneer is bonded carefully, then refined for comfort, finish and natural translucency.

Aftercare

Treat veneers like natural teeth: brush, floss and avoid using your teeth as tools. Keep up your check-ups so we can monitor them. Well-cared-for porcelain veneers last for years.

Frequently asked questions

Will they look fake?

Not the way we do them. Natural-looking shade, shape, translucency. The whole point is that nobody can tell.

Porcelain or composite?

Porcelain lasts longer and resists staining better; composite is more affordable and quicker. We help you choose what suits.

Do you have to grind down my teeth?

Modern veneers need only minimal preparation, sometimes almost none. We’re always as conservative as possible.

How long do they last?

Porcelain veneers commonly last 10–15 years or more. Composite is shorter (5–7 years) but easier to refresh.

Do you accept medical aids?

Yes — we accept all medical aids. We'll explain any costs and what your plan covers before treatment begins, so there are no surprises.
